We know adoption can seem overwhelming, so we recommend taking things step by step.
• Request a packet of information from Buckner. This will give you basic information. Click here to request a packet.
•Once you have reviewed the material, if you wish to begin the process, you will need to request a free Pre-application and Adoption Questionnaire. Once the pre-application is submitted, our staff reviews it, and if you meet the general qualifications, and we have a current need for families in our program, you will be invited to attend the Domestic Infant Adoption Orientation Workshop.
•The orientation workshops cover the adoption process from start to finish, including home study procedures and fees. They provide an opportunity to hear from a family who has adopted through the program, and also allow ample time for questions and answers. There is a $50.00 non-refundable fee to attend the workshop. A complete list of workshop dates and times will be included with the invitation to attend that you would receive if you are eligible. Invitation and pre-registration are required prior to attending.
