Buckner has provided foster care services in Lubbock since 1996, but has been a part of the Lubbock community at the Buckner Children’s Home campus since 1957. We have years of experience working with children and families and are committed to helping find loving homes for children in our community. Our experienced team can answer any questions you may have about the foster care or adoption process. We look forward to hearing from you!
We are currently recruiting families who are open to providing loving foster homes for:
- Children with special challenges and therapeutic needs
- Children age 5 and over
We are also looking for families living in rural areas to provide homes for children outside of Lubbock.
For our Domestic Infant Adoption program, we are looking for families who are willing to maintain an open relationship with a child’s birth family. To learn more about open adoption, click here.
